planning the masterpiece

OK, so I’m back to my usual tricks.  Planning, planning and more planning.  But I’m thinking that this might not be so bad.  By the end of today, I will have the whole chapter planned out, and then I will write it.  Non-stop.  No looking up other ideas, reading other things…I will just write it.  And then go back and fill in the gaps.

Still haven’t heard anything from the various fellowship competitions I’ve applied for, though I take some consolation from the fact that most colleges will be serious busy with undergraduate applications right now.
